Our Origin
Radon Be Gone was founded in 2006 by experienced home inspectors who kept finding the same problem: elevated radon in homes across Central Ohio. Families had no idea. Buyers and sellers had no solutions.
So we built one. Over two decades, our team has tested and mitigated thousands of properties across the region. We learned every foundation type, every soil condition, and every regulatory requirement that shapes radon work in Ohio.
In 2022, Radon Be Gone joined Protect Environmental, a national leader in environmental risk reduction. The handshake expanded our resources, lab support, and engineering depth while keeping the same local crews, the same trucks, and the same founder still leading the team.
