Supplemental Notice for California Residents

This Supplemental Notice describes the California privacy rights available to California residents under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), and how to exercise them. Terms used but not defined here have the meanings given in our main Privacy Policy at RadonBeGoneOH.com/privacy-policy.
Categories of Personal Information We Collect
We collect categories of personal information including:
- Identifiers: name, email, phone number, postal address, IP address.
- Commercial information: service requests, appointment and service history.
- Internet/electronic network activity: browsing and usage data, cookies, analytics.
- Professional information: job title or company (when provided).
- Inferences drawn from the above to provide and improve services.
We collect these categories from you directly, from your device and browser, and from service providers and partners.
Purposes for Which We Use Personal Information
We use personal information to:
- Provide and manage services, scheduling, quotes, and customer support.
- Communicate with you about services, billing, and updates.
- Operate, improve, and personalize our website and services.
- Detect, prevent, and address fraud or illegal activity.

Categories of Personal Information Disclosed for Business Purposes
We disclose personal information to service providers and contractors who help operate our business (e.g., hosting, analytics, communications, payment processors). These parties are contractually limited to using personal information only to perform services for us.
Sales and Sharing
Radon Be Gone does not sell California residents’ personal information for monetary consideration. We may share certain personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising only if we provide a clear notice and obtain separate consent where required. As of the Effective Date, we do not share personal information that meets the CPRA definition of “sharing” for targeted advertising.
Retention
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this notice and our Privacy Policy, to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary by category and purpose.
Your California Privacy Rights
California residents have the following rights, subject to applicable verification and legal limits:
1) Right to know and access
You may request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we collected about you in the past 12 months, the sources, the business or commercial purpose for collecting or sharing it, and the categories of third parties with whom we shared it.
2) Right to delete
You may request deletion of personal information we maintain about you, subject to certain exceptions (e.g., to complete a transaction, detect security incidents, comply with legal obligations).
3) Right to correct
You may request correction of inaccurate personal information we maintain.
4) Right to Opt-Out of Sale or Sharing
You may opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. We do not sell personal information. To opt out of any future sale/sharing for targeted advertising, click the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link on our website or submit a request as described below.
5) Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information
To the extent we process sensitive personal information, you may request limitations on that processing.
6) Right to Non-Discrimination
You have the right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising your privacy rights.
How to Submit a Request To exercise any of the rights above

- Provide: your name, email address, description of the request and the information required to verify your identity (see Verification below).
- Authorized Agent: You may designate an authorized agent to submit requests on your behalf. We will require signed permission from you and verification of the agent’s identity.
Verification
We will take reasonable steps to verify your identity before fulfilling requests (for example, by matching email address, phone number, or other account information). For requests involving access to specific pieces of data or deletion, we may request additional information to verify identity. If we cannot verify you, we will explain what additional information is needed.
Response Timing
We will acknowledge receipt of verifiable consumer requests within 10 business days and respond within 45 calendar days, subject to any lawful extension. If we need more time, we will notify you and explain the reason for the extension.
Appeal or Complaint
If you are dissatisfied with our response, you may contact us at privacy@radonbegoneoh.com to request review. You may also submit a complaint to the California Privacy Protection Agency or pursue other remedies allowed by law.
Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
To opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, click the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link on the footer of our website or submit an opt-out request to privacy@radonbegoneoh.com.
Changes to this Notice
We may update this Supplemental Notice to reflect changes in legal requirements or our practices. The Effective Date at the top will indicate when the notice was last revised.
